2028 5'6" PG Ashanti Henderson is a quick and shifty PG that can distribute and score from outside or off the bounce. Henderson is playing up 2-3 years depending on the game, and she does not back down from being outsized or outmatched from older girls on either side of the ball. She uses her low center of gravity to stay in front of shifty guards on D, as well as keeping herself ready to get into a quick shot release off a heels of a shift move to shake opponents. We like Ashanti's vision, IQ, and quickness. We'll be watching her journey as she gets closer to HS years.

5'6" PG Ashanti Henderson has great poise on the ball facing pressure; she shows signs of a great PG with her ability to handle and deliver the rock to cutters or skip it across to open shooters while being pursued. Henderson has a great shot for her age. At her size, she has to work a little more to get open looks, but she has adapted a couple different floaters to add to her quick release jumpers. Defensively, she is a pure ball-stopper. Every great team needs one. Bright future for this young hooper.
